The Garden Champions
Rabbit was feeling tired every day. “I don’t get it,” he sighed. “I eat plenty of food—chips, chocolate, and soda!”Tortoise, resting under a tree, shook hishead gently. “Maybe your food is full ofsugar and not nutrients,” he said. “Whydon’t we grow our own healthy food in agarden?” Rabbit raised an eyebrow. “Agarden? That sounds boring…” But deepinside, he was curious.
The next morning Rabbit and Tortoise picked a sunny spot and started digging .They planted tomatoes, carrots
,lettuces, and cucumbers.”this is a hardwork ““rabbit said, sweating. “It is alsoexercise “ Tortoise chuckled.
They watered the plants everyday, pulsedout weeds , and watched the tiny sprouts grow . Rabbit was surprised and he actually enjoyed it.
After a few weeks, the garden was full of bright, fresh vegetables and fruits. “Wow! Look at all this!” Rabbitsaid with wide eyes. They picked juicy tomatoes,crunchy carrots, and sweet strawberries. Tortoiseprepared a salad, and Rabbit made a fruit bowl. They satunder a tree and shared the meal. “This tastes amazing—and I feel full of energy!” Rabbit cheered.
The two friends invited the other animalsto a garden feast. Squirrel brought nuts,Owl made veggie soup, and Deer preparedberry smoothies. Everyone ate together, laughing and sharing stories. “This is better than any fast food,” Rabbit said happily.The forest animals asked Rabbit andTortoise to teach them how to grow garden too.
Soon, the forest was filled with smallgardens. Every animal grew something healthy and delicious. Rabbit no longerfelt tired—he was fast and strong, just like before. “Who knew plants could change so much?” he said.
Tortoise smiled. “Nature gives us what weneed—we just have to take care of it.”And from then on, Rabbit and Tortoise became the forest’s Garden Champions,helping everyone grow health and happiness.
